UGG: SS21 PRIDE Kai and Omari
A series of short films co-produced with Eden Creative
For the launch of Ugg’s 2021 global pride campaign, we co-produced a series of films with Eden Creative, directed by Yasser Abubeker, featuring actor Omari Douglas (It’s a Sin) and trans visibility activist Kai Isiah Jamal. The shoot was inspired by a school dance, with multiple setups to capture in a one day shoot, with pristine styling, all on a tight budget and fast turn around. The films included candid interviews with Omari and Kai about personal journeys and a “In conversation” discussion between them both.
