Audible x Artbox London: Talking Art
Artbox London artists Bobbi, Paul and Toyin
'Talking Art' follows Artbox London artists Bobbi, Paul and Toyin from the creation of their work in the studio to speaking about it on-mic in Audible Studios. Having been invited to undertake an initial 'Studio Training' session at Audible the previous year, the artists were keen to return to the studio to make this film, where the artists tell us more about their inspiration, creative processes and lives. Having found that the initial training helped improve their confidence in presenting themselves and their art, they also formed a great bond and working relationships with the session director and studio engineer. A film of two parts, the artists are seen in the second half in Audible's state-of-the-art London studios. An engaging study of the interplay between creation of art and presentation, this film challenges perceptions of what neurodivergent and autistic adults can achieve and is an insightful look into the production of audio and art.
